It’s time to start thinking about the Fall, and Music Explorers!
Any child can join Music Explorers. This class is beneficial to students who have been a part of Music Makers, Kindermusik, Music for Young Children and Sing and Play programs, building on what they have already learned. It is also open to students with no prior music learning experiences but are interested in learning more about music through guided exploration.
Music Explorers will encourage budding and experienced young musicians. Students will engage in music making games and activities using their voices and a variety of instruments. Musical concepts of rhythm, melody, movement and composition will be explored and discovered with the guidance of an experienced music educator. Student creativity will be encouraged through improvisation, movement and singing activities. This weekly group class will give students a basic foundation of music that can be built upon.
