MUSIC EXPLORERS
Music Explorers is for any child age 5-8! This class is beneficial to children who have been a part of Music Makers or similar music programs. Music Explorers is also open to those with no prior music learning experiences who are interested in learning more about music in a fun and engaging environment.
Concepts of rhythm, melody, note reading and composition will be covered through a variety of musical games. Explorers will have the chance to express themselves creatively through improvisation, composition and movement activities.
Explorers will also be given the opportunity to interact with a variety of instruments as well as musicians and musical styles. Through these interactions, interests will be sparked and students will gain a clearer idea of instruments they wish to study in the years to follow.
Course Length: Full year program, September to May. Two sessions offered:
Wednesdays, 3:15-4:00pm
Wednesdays, 4:00-4:45pm
Cost: $450 per year + $50 registration fee
